About me
I am a qualified native English proofreader, editor, and copywriter with over ten years’ experience, working with clients across the UK and worldwide. I specialise in academic proofreading, business editing, and manuscript editing and proofreading for authors.

I began proofreading in 2007, earning a distinction from the Publishing Training Centre in 2012. As a published author and experienced marketing manager, I understand how important your project is to you. I am passionate about helping clients refine their writing through thorough and precise proofreading, professional editing, and clear, engaging copywriting.

I have worked in marketing and communications since 2002, in publishing, commercial, and educational settings. My experience includes producing and editing magazines, including city magazines for Sheffield and Liverpool, a quarterly publication for the University of Sheffield’s Department of Mechanical Engineering, and writing a book celebrating 100 years of Mechanical Engineering in Sheffield.

I am also currently writing my first fiction novel. In my free time, I enjoy making collage art, spending time in my garden and local countryside, and reading anything I can get my hands on.
