About KT Proofreading
I am a qualified proofreader, editor, and copywriter with almost twenty years’ experience, working with clients across the UK and worldwide. I specialise in British English manuscript editing and proofreading for authors, academic proofreading, and business editing.
I began proofreading in 2007, earning a distinction from the Publishing Training Centre in 2012. As a published author and experienced marketing manager, I understand how important your project is to you. I am passionate about helping clients refine their writing through thorough and precise proofreading, professional editing, and clear, engaging copywriting.
I have worked in marketing and communications in publishing, commercial, and educational settings. My experience includes producing and editing magazines, including city magazines for Sheffield and Liverpool, a quarterly publication for the University of Sheffield’s Department of Mechanical Engineering, and writing a book celebrating 100 years of Mechanical Engineering in Sheffield.
I am also currently writing my first fiction novel.
